Copyright Ownership

Authors retain copyright in articles published by Cybersecurity: Education, Science, Technique.

By accepting an article for publication, the authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication and the right to identify itself as the original publisher. The journal may publish, reproduce, preserve, index, distribute, and register metadata and a DOI for the article as necessary for scholarly communication.

Content Licence

Unless otherwise indicated, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

The licence permits users to share and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that they give appropriate credit, cite the original publication, link to the licence, indicate whether changes were made, and distribute adaptations under the same licence.

The licence applies to the article unless a credit line or rights notice states that particular third-party material is excluded. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any material for which they do not hold the necessary rights.

Self-Archiving and Repository Deposit

Authors may deposit the following versions of their article in an institutional, subject, or general-purpose repository, or on a personal or institutional website:

• the preprint - the author's version before peer review;
• the Author Accepted Manuscript - the version accepted after peer review but before the journal's copy-editing and layout;
• the Version of Record - the final version published by the journal.

No embargo applies. After publication, all deposited versions should include the full citation, DOI, and a link to the Version of Record.

Posting a preprint does not constitute prior publication and does not prevent submission to the journal. Authors must disclose the existence and location of any preprint when submitting the manuscript and should update the preprint record with the article DOI after publication.

Additional Distribution

Authors may enter into separate non-exclusive arrangements for distributing the published article, for example by including it in an institutional repository, dissertation, teaching collection, or monograph, provided that the original publication in this journal is acknowledged and the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence are observed.

Commercial Use and Permissions

The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence does not permit use primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation. Requests for uses outside the licence terms should be directed to the copyright holder. Separate permission may also be required for third-party material contained in an article.
